Welcome to my Michelle Kwan page.  I decided to add a page about her because she is my favorite skater. This page is only a very small page about why I like her so much, it is also a page to show some of the pictures and autographs that I have of her. 1998 World Championships

Here are a few of the Michelle Kwan pictures taken by my dad, Mike Itzin, at the 1998 World Figure Skating Championships held at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. One of the four World Championships that Michelle Kwan has won. Michelle Kwan has also won:

Olympic Medals
  1 Silver
  1 Bronze

World Medals
  5 Gold
  3 Silver

National Medals
  9 Gold
  3 Silver

I not only love Michelle Kwan because she is a great skater, but also because she is a wonderful competitor and person.  Even when she wins an event she always finds things that need improving. At the 1998 Olympics when she lost the silver medal she said, "I didn't lose the gold, I won the silver." These two examples are just a few of the many reasons why I love her.  And if she decides to go for the Gold in 2010 I will be rooting for her all the way!
